DESCRIPTION
The study is concentrated on complex of lobbying issues in the framework of the EU, the UK and Switzerland. It covers practice of lobbying in the EU institutions and authorities of the EU member-states, the UK and Switzerland. It also investigates conceptual and theoretical principles of lobbying. The study includes a large number of case-studies and provides the reader with an analysis of the relevant legislations.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Prof. Dr. Viktor MATVIYENKO, Head of the International Organizations and Diplomatic Service Department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine). Authored more than 200 scientific papers on international relations, theory and practice of modern diplomacy, diplomatic history of Ukraine. He has the honorary title of «Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine».
Dr. Stanislav SOKUR, diplomat and international lawyer, currently works for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. He practiced law for more than 10 years on behalf of the private and corporate in the EU jurisdictions and Ukraine. Stanislav advised the Parliament of Ukraine on drafting lobbying legislation. He authored book “Lobbying in the member states and institutions of the European Union” (2020), as well as numerous articles on the EU and UN matters.
