I, Jesus, Rockstar, Book 2 - The Ascension

"Ascension" is the second volume of the powerful and fascinating rock saga "I, Jesus, Rock Star" about the second coming of Christ in the modern world. Bright, frank and insightful! The second coming went awry, so Jesus reveals himself in the body of Dave Headstrong, a scandalous rock singer who has devoted his life to fighting the Church and religion. This time, Jesus is deprived of his divine abilities. And before he can save the world, he needs to come out of his coma, learn to control his new body and try to survive in this crazy modern world that is foreign to him. He doesn't want to be a cheeky rebel rocker, but he can't declare himself to the world either. Therefore, he is forced to pretend to be Headstrong and live his life. Having recovered from a long stay in a coma, Jesus decides to get to know the surrounding world and people. He travels to different countries and is looking for answers that will allow him to fulfill his mission. He is looking for a dialogue with the Church and its ministers, but he understands that without miracles no one will believe that he is the Son of God. This path helps him find new friends and love, but he also has more and more enemies. And with his enemies, he was used to being no less ruthless than Dave Headstrong. But will he have enough strength for this?
