If you are preparing textbooks or educational materials for printing, please review the basic layout requirements. These will help you avoid technical revisions and speed up the printing process, ensuring a high-quality and predictable result.

• General Requirements
  - We accept ready-to-print layouts; if necessary, we can also assist with layout preparation and design.
  - The interior of the educational publication must be submitted in PDF format, page by page (not as spreads).
  - If the layout is prepared as spreads, we can split it into individual pages (service fee: 150 UAH).
  - Cover: PDF / PNG / JPG.
  - Multi-page educational materials should be submitted as a single file with correct and consecutive page numbering.
  - Layout without technical marks, comments, or unnecessary elements.
• Formats and sizes
  - We support A5, B5, and A4 formats.
  - If your layout has non-standard proportions, we will help you choose the optimal option or scaling.
• Recommended Margins
  Proper margins are important to ensure that textbooks and educational materials look neat, and to ensure that text and graphic elements are not cut off or misaligned during printing and binding:
  - Inner margin (from the spine): 20 mm — to maintain readability in the area where the pages are stapled or glued.
  - Outer margins: 10–15 mm — to ensure important layout elements are not cut off and appear balanced on the page.
• Technical parameters of the layout for printing
  - Color mode: CMYK.
  - Resolution: 300 dpi (optimal).
  - File size: up to 1000 MB.
  - Layout without crop marks, watermarks, comments, or unnecessary objects.
  We recommend avoiding complex graphic effects such as shadows, gradients, and transparency whenever possible.
• Cover
  Special attention should be paid to the covers of textbooks and educational literature, as they form the first impression of the publication:
  - Place important elements (title, author) no closer than 10–15 mm from the edges to avoid them being cut off.
  - The spine thickness is calculated individually depending on the number of pages and the type of paper.
  - Text can be placed on the spine provided its thickness is at least 10 mm.
  A properly calculated spine ensures a neat appearance of the textbook after binding (glue or thread) and makes the publication more convenient to use.
• Lamination
  For textbooks and educational materials, the following options for additional cover protection are available:
  - Glossy lamination — the standard solution for wear protection.
  - Matte lamination — +15 UAH/copy, provides a more subdued and reader-friendly appearance.
  It is recommended to avoid overly dark fills on the cover, as they may lose detail after printing and lamination.
• Important details regarding production parameters
  To ensure the cover and binding look neat and free of defects, please note:
  - Bleed: 3–5 mm on each side.
  - Acceptable technical margin of error for printing and cutting: 1–2 mm.
  All important layout elements must be placed within the safe zone to prevent them from being cut off.
• Additional services
  We can help prepare textbooks and educational materials on a “turnkey” basis:
  - Page layout separation — 150 UAH.
  - Design of the endpapers and spine (text or color), addition of a ribbon — at individual rates.
  - Prepress file preparation (checking the PDF, layout, and technical parameters).
